Dear Mr. Man in the Moon... You sure are making me tired, having to snap pictures of you at wee hours of the night/morning. This is a picture of the moon that was taken at 5:10 a.m. this morning. The moon is a waning gibbous crescent, and continues to go smaller as the moon prepares for the new moon stage.

This sketch of the moon is from September 9, 2012 at 4:00 a.m. The moon is still in the waning gibbous phase, and is continuing to grow smaller.
