This is a website that has been developed by engineers at NASA to provide children resources about space that are safe, fun, and educational. This site has reliable information on space related topics, as well as interactive games, web quests, and live chats with NASA experts.

This is an interactive website that has been designed to teach kids about the exciting facts of outer space. It is full of educational games, activities, and fun facts that will excite kids about space!

Discovery kids has designed this site specifically to teach kids about science. They have a wealth of resources dedicated to outer space, that is sure spark the interest of kids.

This site was created by The National Aeronautics and Space Administration to educate kids about the planets within our solar system. This site allows kids to view real pictures of the planets, and is full of kid friendly games, and it even lets you see how much you would weigh on the moon!

This interactive website that was developed by National Geographic, allows kids to explore the cosmic wonders of our solar system through real pictures and kid friendly games.

Informational and Educational Apps about the Moon and Space:

1. Moon- This is the perfect resource to help anyone learn about the moon. This app gives real time updates about the moons current lunar phase, distance to the moon in miles, and a lunar phase timeline. This app is compatible with the iPhone and iPad.

2. Skyview- This is an interactive app that lets you know exactly what you are looking at in the sky. To activate this app, simply point your device towards the sky, and Skyview will give you information about the stars and constellations that are present at that time. This app can be used on the iPhone or iPad.

3. Moon Globe- This moon app allows users to virtually hold the moon in their hands. This app uses GPS technology and satellite imagery to give users authentic surface views of the moons surface.

This is a children's fiction book about a young kitten that mistakes the moon for a bowl of milk.
